I'm reading the series right now, and I'm up to object 228. I just had to drop by and say this is some of the freakiest, creepiest stuff I've ever read, and I love it!

As for me, the main point of these stories is not to scare, but... don't know how to say. Raise the feeling of uncertainty as well as some questions you can't answer?
For example, I really like Holder of Isolation. I can't say that it's scary, there's no that blood'n'guts stuff or something like "you'll die, and your death will be horrible beyond compherension", the trial is simple, there's nothing that specific a Seeker should do, but it's really unnerving.

I have to admit, I'm not too fond of the stories where you can die - just by chance - in like 15 different over-the-top ways before you even reach the Holder. lol

I don't think that it's actually death in its whole entire meaning. Maybe it's more like tortures, or anything like that...
And well, Holders just don't know how else can they make Seekers not to try to get all these things which bring nothing but bad stuff. They want to protect the universe (or whatever) from what Objects can bring at any cost...
In fact, there used to be a very interesting topic about good Holders and evil Seekers, but, unfortunately...

Yeah... It's just that I can only read "a fate worse than death" & "eternal suffering" so many times before it stops affecting me. :/ I can only imagine how awesome this place use to be. What happened? o_o

Yeah. I like that obscurity that it's up to each other to think about what some things can actually be, but, as for me, these moments could be a bit more detailed. This "fate worse than death" could be... almost everything. Like that Isolation's trial. Or even what happened to Holder of Doom.
Yeah. There used to be much fun, but after that spambot attack all topics, including aforementioned one about good Holders and evil Seekers, were deleted. I guess I'll make a new one again a little bit later.
